Numerous Web sites Powered by CMS400.NET receive recognition in the 2008 WebAward Competition
NASHUA, NH September 25, 2008 – Ektron Inc., a technology and market leader in Web content management software, is honored to announce that over 20 Web sites entered in the 2008 Web Award competition, powered by Ektron CMS400.NET, were recognized by the Web Marketing Association.
Founded in 1997, the Web Marketing Association sets a high standard for excellence in Internet marketing and development of the best Web sites on the World Wide Web. Sites from 96 different industries were independently judged on seven criteria including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use.
Web sites powered by Ektron’s content management software, CMS400.NET, captured awards in 15 different industry categories including three “Best Web site of Industry” awards. The Alliance Theatre was recognized with the best Web site award for the entertainment industry, while BGT Partners corporate Web site was acknowledged as the best professional services site and City of Frisco, Texas for the best government site.
